5.0 out of 5 stars Thoroughly Enjoyable
I don't fish fluke but I still really enjoyed this book. It's nice to sit back and read an accomplished angler's accumulated life experience with one species (other than trout or bass). The book is a mix of techniques, tips, and stories. I especially liked that he has a friend with a tattoo that reads "Fluking Beautiful." I would say that this also describes this book.

1.0 out of 5 stars Unhelpful book, February 11, 2007

I have been a fluke fisherman for over three years, and I was hoping t improve my skills as a fisherman with this book. I am both unhappy and dissatisfied with this book. I have not gained anything that worthwile from this book. Fluke An Anglers Guide, goes into unrealated details like when the author describes how his friend got a nickname, and other tangents unrelated to fishing that I really don't want to hear about. At some points, I feel as though the author was writing this book to try to impress his friends, and not improve the readers fishing style or skills. There were few good parts of this book, but to be honest they cold be summed up in a page or two. The writing style also didn't fit my like, and my suggestion to you would be that that there are better books out there. Overall I would rate this book a 3-4 out of 10.
