It does what its supposedto do. Turn on, plug into your meter, dial in zero, works perfectly every time.

What I don't like is getting zero is tricky with my gorilla thumbs. The cord being permanently attached makes storage difficult. Worst of all, it doesn't have an auto off feature, and the little red light signifying on is not easy to tell its on. So, I'm constantly killing the battery.

My suggestion to fluke is to make the cord detachable, and either add an auto off, or the light easier to see.

Fluke makes excellent products that are trustworthy. Overall, I'm satisfied but, if constant improvement is a goal, maybe we'll see a change.

Instead of shelling out the cash for the case with the fluke name on it, I got a cheap nylon zippered pencil case for a buck fifty. It works good enough to keep the cable from getting messed up in the tool box. Best part it has the ninja turtles on it.

update 12/7/14: A problem since it was new is that plugging it in and especially out of my 87V is difficult. I thought it would wear itself in with use but it hasn't. This makes me dread having to use it because I know I'll have to pull REALLY HARD to get it unplugged. I make a strong effort to remember to check to be sure I've turned it off when I put it away but I still end up killing the battery and therefore always make sure I keep a spare 9v on hand.

Works great with my dgital multi meter. Just keep in mind the cord is not replacable or removable. It is built in as is the banana jack. Would be nice if you could put on different connectors to attach maybe to a o-scope. This is a small detail that will not affect most people.

Very poor instructions/explanation of how to use this device. I'm still struggling to work with it.
