This review is from: Fluorescein and Indocyanine Green Angiography: Technique and Interpretation (American Academy of Ophthalmology Monograph) (Paperback)
As I have an interest in retina, I wanted a little more information on angiography than is present in the basic science series published by the american academy of ophthalmology. There a number of texts out there, but as this one was relatively inexpensive, and not terribly long so that I could get through it in a reasonable amount of time, I gave it a try.

I would recommend this book. It starts out relatively basic, repeating some of the information in the academy's basic science series, which is fine because some may not have read those books already. After that I found that it went into the appropriate amount of detail without getting bogged down in study results, physics, or other minutia. However, for a book focused on angiography, some may miss the minutia and detail. Most of the book is dedicated to angiogram findings in various disease states. The text is very readable with good summaries at the end of each chapter. At times though, the text is rather bland. The pictures are also of reasonable quality but a little small. While there is discussion of ICG angiography, fluorescein angiography is definitely covered in greater detail. I would recommend this book for those wishing to increase their knowledge of angiography and interpreting angiograms. It is at the very least, an excellent starting point, and is a bargain for the money (paid $36 for it).

There are now other books available by Agarwal and another by Shelly. My personal favorite is the one by Yanuzzi and G. Richard.
