this is the album to buy if you have never tried rap/hiphop.......up until i heard this band i have never..ever considered purchasing a rap album.i heard this band on a christian music sampler cd and as soon as i heard the song flouresant jellyfish i realized i HAD to purchase the WHOLE album by furthermore.the beat and lyrics are awesome.this album hasn't come out of the cd player since i purchased it. i challenge you to give this band a try and they will probably make a fan out of you.

...but you have to listen close! I absolutely LOVED this album, and listen to it regularly! The lyrics I found strange at first, especially in "The Walrus", but the message that we as Christians need to be involved in everyday life is important, and visible in this song. "The Best Things" talks about things we need to realize as blessings when they are obvious, and that we need to thank the Lord for the little miracles and not-so-little miracles that cross our lives day after day. "Ghost" was another strange one, but the lyrics also hold a message that we need to be real for God and at the same time, not ask for things of this world which pass away quickly.

I basically LOVED this album and it's message. If you listen close, the message of Jesus Christ is there. I loved the mix of hip-hop with rap, grunge with pop, and alternative with classic rock. Awesome CD, and I can't wait to hear FurtherMore's second release...

This album has 10 quick tracks, and every one is good. I really don't like rap, but this reminds me of early Beastie Boys...in fact the last track "Melted Vinyl" is similar to a song off of Paul's Boutique. I know you've heard this said before about certain albums, but you will really love or hate this particular CD.

Even Utah has cutting edge hip-hop.

This Disk is innovative and fresh. It mixes the worlds of New York hip-hop clubs with the snowboard culture that has ravaged the once "nice Mormon city" of Salt Lake.

Buy this CD.

Furthermore combines the best hip hop beats and the fattest lyrics that has ever come out of the Salt Lake area! Definately the most cutting edge sound out of Salt Lake since Insight in 1986....

This CD rocks! I saw the music video "The Walrus" on G-rock, and then had to run out and buy the CD it is REALLY AWESOME. I luv the combination of hip-hop and rapish-type sound. I would recommend this CD to anyone

This CD is AWESOME! For fans of 3NP and even the Beastie Boys, check this album out! A blend of thumpy vocals & bumpin beats with some smooth music. Pump it up on the road or while you're chillin at home! Don't miss this one. It's a MUST HAVE for any fan of hip hop. BUY IT or at least give it a listen!

Furthermore's Flouresent Jellyfish C.D. is awesome. It's a funny, hip-hop/rock c.d. that displays Christian themes. If you aren't a hip-hop lover, and despise it, you might hate this c.d. It's a great c.d, and it's worth a lot more than you'll pay for it!

"Christian Rap"..
i think it's still a contradiction in terms,
but this group has given me a chance to believe in it yet again.

the rapper is really quite good, and his rhymes are top-of-the-line.

if you're even looking at this review, it's probably because you've heard at least one song off here.

and if you've heard at least one, buy this and give the whole cd a spin.
if you don't like something...you just might on the next track.
