Barry Grove's book, Fluoride: Drinking Ourselves to Death, exposes the "science" that has successfully promoted water fluoridation for what it is: bluff, propaganda, and lies. Fluoride is a poison--more poisonous than lead, slightly less poisonous than arsenic. It is cumulative and collects in bones and tissues, not just the teeth. Numerous studies done on animals point out the obvious dangers. Other studies have shown increased rates of cancer, osteoporosis, and other diseases. Dr. Albert Schatz, who discovered the antibiotic streptomycin, said in 1982 that "fluoridation is the greatest fraud that has ever been perpetrated." Yet other studies of tens of thousands of children show that it isn't even effective at preventing cavities and is an extremely poor delivery system even if it were effective.

Like it or not, your government sometimes lies to you. Groves points out the fact that fluoridation is nothing more or less than a huge government-sponsored lie, conveniently spun so that the super-phosphate industry can rid itself of harmful toxic waste that is illegal and dangerous to release into the air but suddenly becomes a magical "elixir of good teeth" when added to our drinking water.

If you care about your health, Grove's book is a must read.

This book reviews the science and salesmanship involved in the fluoride debate, as there is no clear valid evidence of significant benefits from added fluoride consumption, while there are many independent studies showing a variety of potential negative mental & physical effects. This evidence has been available previously in some other texts and online information collections, and is beyond rational refutation. There are, of course, some really insecure people who just can't accept or admit that the government, medical, & dental authorities are spreading lies and contaminating the public water supplies. One reviewer claims that people who denounce fluoridation are opportunists seeking economic profit and getting paid thousands of dollars per event for speaking against fluoridation. To deny one conspiracy, this reviewer has invented his own conspiracy, based on no evidence. If speaking publicly against fluoride were financially lucrative, where are all the wealthy fluoride opponents and anti-fluoride ads? Of course, all the damning evidence about fluoride is in professional journals and government documents for anyone to see. Then again, maybe consuming so much fluoride made that person dumb enough to think fluoride is good and anyone against fluoride isn't - after all, fluoridation has been correlated with diminished IQs.

This book is outstanding! It documents false claims by fluoride pushers and provides unimpeachable evidence that fluoridation is public health quackery!

This scientific, well researched book reads like a detective story!I couldn't put it down! This book reveals the terrible deception and fraud that heads of state,industry and the scientific community have perpetuated on the innocent public, much to the detriment of the health of the American people. This book should be required reading for every doctor and dentist before their license is granted and for every parent when the birth certificate for their child in issued. This book could bring about real changes in America for the betterment of the health of the people. For your own good, do read it!

This book should give each and every reader reason to be nervous. This book will, or should let us all know just how well our Government is taking care of us. The famed FDA says fluoride is good for the teeth, and strengthens the enamel. True, the enamel is strengthed by fluoride, but the trouble is in the core. Our teeth become brittle, along with our bones. Osteoporosis, and maybe even arthritis are made more severe by the constant intake of this toxin. More toxic than lead, that is right lead, and just a shade under arsenic, in it's toxic level. Fluoradation for years has survived by the lie that this "garbage" is indeed not a toxin, but beneficial. To whom?

Some of the diseases laid out by the author include bone cancer fluorosis (rotting of the bones) osteoporosis, alzheimers, just to name a few. Yet the USDA, the CDC, FDA, all refuse to come right out and say this is a toxin, and should not under any circumstances be ingested by human or animal. The Nuclear Industry, the Phosphate, and the Aluminum Industries all make billions off what is just a waste product of their productions.

Yes Gloria your Government is lying when it says Fluoride is good for you. Please read for yourself, and do not take someone eleses word, for something as critical as your health, and that of your family.

in any scientific arguement, the only thing that matters is the available evidence and that is clearly lacking at the CDC. It's been said that when the data doesn't support your arguement you don't have enough data. The gov't is renowned by flubbing its own studies, sponsoring stupid programs with no basis in fact, and draining the taxpayer just to create a jobs program. Enough!! Even WITHOUT all the nobel-leareates against it, I cannot condone the adding of nutrients, vitamins, minerals, fluoride, or green tea to public water at taxpayer expense. I can take care of my own teeth, thank you very much.

This book is wonderful. The mass medication that the Governments endure on us is quite shocking. Any way to make money and push our health over the edge shows that they have no compassion on humanity. This book is highly recommended. Those who find it difficult to believe the claims as to why our Government would want to poison us and promote such a product, please understand that we are always told lies from our Governments and health industries. Fluoride is just one of the many hundreds of problems we must work through. The skincare industry is self-regulated and even shampoos, deodorants, and moisturisers contain harsh cancer causing chemicals. This book is essential reading if you drink fluoridated water without a fluoride removing water filter.

Barry Groves one by one refutes every single argument made by the dental establishment and others in favour of fluoridation.

He also very convincingly lays out all the health problems that are caused or made worse by drinking fluoridated water.

In short, fluoride is a cumulatively toxic substance that is more toxic than lead, does not reduce the rate of dental decay, and a high intake can lead to osteoporosis and cancer and is particularly problematic for babies in-utero, small children, those with kidney, cardiovascular and autoimmune diseases and the elderly. It can cause low IQ in children, kidney damage, thyroid gland suppression, contributes to many cancer deaths and no safe level has been determined. Fluoride also makes teeth more brittle and likely to shatter, and so dentists make more money where water is fluoridated, the author explains. Fluoridation of water supplies is also expensive.

Fluoride in water is toxic industrial waste. Early research proving fluoride benefits was seriously flawed and the US paid other countries to fluoridate their water supplies. There is enough fluoride in a tube of toothpaste to kill a small child and deaths from fluoride in small children are not isolated incidents. Dosing water with fluoride indiscriminately is unethical and scientifically unsupportable.

Where it is possible to openly discuss and debate fluoridated water the practice is banned, this book explains, and adds that the fluoridation of our water supplies is one of the biggest medical scams. Most people do not want fluoridated water and the long list of professionals that have taken a firm stand against fluoride is impressive and includes 16 Nobel prize winners.

The book also discusses about supplements you can take to minimise the damage caused by fluoride, how fluoride toxicity can be tested for and the other high-fluoride foods and drinks to avoid.

The book is very easy to read, very well researched and referenced and very compelling and convincing. Even if you have read a lot about fluoride in chapters of books before, this book is still a worthwhile read as it really goes into depth on the subject and so you are sure to learn something new.

I learned an enormous amount by reading this book and recommend it to others. It's so well done and all of us really need to know this information.

Until sanity prevails and none of our water supplies are medicated with fluoride without our consent, we each need to do what we can to minimise our exposure. That starts with buying a fluoride removing water filter. They aren't cheap, but better pay a bit of money for a decent fluoride removing filter (reverse osmosis or a distiller with an attached carbon filter) than letting your body be the filter and ending up with worsened health problems that may be irreversible.

Barry Groves has taken a different angle to the lie that we have been told about fluoride and fluoridation, that it is "safe and effective". He has taken what the promoters have said and disected their lies to reveal the truth backing it up with true science, not paid for science that pays for the wanted outcome. This is yet another must have book for those who wish to find the truth about fluoride and fluoridation. He reveals the deliberate mistruths and twisted paid for science the ADA, CDC, USPHS, EPA and other organizations have promoted for many decades so they can profit and cover their lies.
