5.0 out of 5 stars Great for Potty Training, Too!, September 10, 2007

I, too, am a children's librarian in a public library. I regularly use this book in story time and other programs and recommend it to parents and caregivers. Everyone loves it! The author has walked a difficult line perfectly: kids love it because it's about toilets, and parents think its hilarious without being gross.

I would also recommend this book to parents who are potty training their kids. Kids who are potty training are obsessed with toilets, and this is a fun outlet for that! It also helps to familiarize little children with "scary" potties, like the loud airplane potties, or the electronic eye potties.

5.0 out of 5 stars give it a flushing chance!, September 5, 2007

I got this book for my son for his birthday after the author visited our local library and read it aloud. It is hilaious and my son wants to read it everyday. The author was selling them at the library that day and we did not bring with us any form of payment with us, to buy one. My son talked about the show everyday. He really enjoyed it. And he was very upset to have to wait so long for the book. The book is fun to read and trying to make the sound effects can be very comical for you and your child.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Read-Aloud!, September 16, 2006

I'm a children's librarian and absolutely love this book! It's a great opportunity to make a lot of noise while reading and sometimes that surprises the kids. Also, a book about toilets? They just don't expect adults to have fun with it too! The illustrations and colors draw their eyes to the book and keeps their attention. The book makes the kids laugh with it's wonderful humor and funny cartoon illustrations. I see books all day long and I don't actually buy many. This one, however, I bought as gifts for children in my family and I even kept a copy for myself!
