Product Description

Size: 40

For the last 40 years there have been but two choices in diapers. Cloth or disposable. That's it. Now gDiapers offers a third option. Flushable. gDiapers puts waste where it belongs, in the toilet. Not the landfill. gDiapers have no elemental chlorine, no perfumes, no smell, no garbage and no guilt. In fact, flushables are so gentle on the Earth you can even garden compost the wet ones in one compost cycle, approximately 50 - 150 days. Just think of the standing ovation you'll get from the planet.

4.0 out of 5 stars Don't flush 'em, June 23, 2008
By
Family Guy (Scottsdale, AZ United States) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Flushable Refills Small 40 Count (Health and Beauty)
My wife ordered these in an attempt to not only keep our daughter from coming into contact with the usual chemicals associated with conventional diapers, but also to utilize the earth-friendly feature of flushing them rather than disposing them in the garbage.

They seemed to work fine in the toilet until our whole house backed up. The instructions warn not to flush them if you have a bad system, so I guess we found out we have a bad system.

The diapers themselves are great, they do a great job, but if there is any doubt at all about your sewage system, don't risk it.

It's a little inconvenient when the outer and inner liners get dirty, and you can't just throw it all away, but it's worth it in the long run. I'm happy with how the product performs overall, I just don't recommend flushing them.

3.0 out of 5 stars Good Not Great, December 27, 2010

I have the Gdiapers system and it works well, the problem is that if your have a child who is a heavy wetter you better double up with the inserts or put a plastic diaper cover over them, because they leak. Or at least for me they do,still a very convenient hybrid diapering system.
My thoughts on flushing them. They flush well at my home, but i always ask people if they feel comfortable having them flushed down their toilet, because some pluming can handle them.

2.0 out of 5 stars Gdiaper leaked every time, November 7, 2011

Don't have much to say about this. Some one gave us some gdiaper covers so I thought I should by sOme insterts to see home the work. They leaked every time. Too bad great concept. I should note though. I have a slim baby. Maybe if your baby has chubbier thighs it will work better.
