My son plays guitar and I play the flute. This was a nice collection that we both enjoyed. One plus of this volume is that guitar tab is included. I have had a hard time finding flute/guitar music that has tab, and while my son reads music, he reads tab much faster.

The variety of music was nice - some pieces more challenging for flute and less so for guitar, others more challenging for guitar and less so for flute. I agree that most music is intermediate to advanced. We liked "Foggy Dew" and "Jesu" pieces.

...but the cd requires a player with the ability to isolate L/R tracks if you want to play with the cd. If you have an actual partner to play with it's a great book. I thought the arrangements for flute were pretty good, some are a little in the low range of the instrument. They are mostly early intermediate to intermediate, nothing too tough technically. I don't play guitar so I can't speak for the guitar parts. The cd is nice to listen to if not useful to play with. I love the arrangements of "The trees they do grow high" and "The Foggy Dew".
