My son has chewed and obliterated the corners of most of his books. These really are indestructible - every adult who comes in contact with them tries to tear them and can't! They are washable and seriously cannot be chewed or torn. I highly recommend them - these are now part of my standard gifts for expecting friends.

Clearly stated in the description, there are no words.

But, that doesn't stop my 10 month old from enjoying her time with this and the other Indestructible books. I really wish there were more books like these.

Our daughter loves this book. It really is indestructible. She twists it up, jams it in her mouth, and waves it around her head like a flag. But it washes clean, can't be torn, and flattens out pretty well. She seems to appreciate that the pages work like real paper. It's especially nice for trips where space is at a premium, because it is much smaller and lighter than a board book. We have two with illustrations by this author, and her graphics are lovely. The wordless format is sometimes a limitation, but also let's us make up new stories every time. Highly recommended!

I have been buying these Indestructibles as gifts for friends' baby showers and first birthdays and have been getting rave reviews! Parents love the indestructible nature, and the colors and pictures catch baby's eye and keep him/her interested and dragging those books all over the place. No words in these books, but parent and baby can look at them together and make up stories! Several different subjects to chose from in the Indestructibles book line for variety and additional learning!

We love the Indestructible series of books. My 7 month old loves to chew on her books so I was really happy when a friend told me about these. First time we gave her one of these books, she played with it for 20 minutes and seemed very entertained. And no matter how much chewing, licking, ripping, tearing, crumbling she does, the books stay intact. I highly recommended these for babies!

I usually give a selection of books at baby showers, and when I saw these, I knew they'd be great. I ordered one for my sis-in-law's shower and one for my year-old nephew. They were thinner than I expected, but they have pages that are more like "real" books than typical board books. They really do stand up to what a baby dishes out--drool and all. The pictures are fun and colorful. All in all, a great buy.

I love these books, I tried to destroy it, just to see if I could and it looks as good as new! Can't wait to gift these to my grandson, he is going to slobber all over them!

This book was given to us at our baby shower. We began holding it up for our little girl at just 5 weeks of age. She has really enjoyed looking at the pictures and hearing us describe them to her. Since there are no words, you can really use your imagination. She is 11 weeks old now and can sit for 15 minutes or more staring at just one of the beautifully illustrated images. We like that there is one illustration per page. This lets her learn one new animal/insect at a time. The colors are bright and vivid, exactly what a baby loves. We've already ordered several of the other books.

Great little book for my daughter who chews on everything!! The material is very strange - I thought it would cause a papercut, but it is actually soft. I tried to rip and couldn't - it really is as durable as it says! Haven't tried washing it...not sure how I would do that!

Only criticism is that it doesn't have any words - just pictures. It's okay right now, but I wish they sold some with stories in them. Oh well! Still great!

I bought these for my son when he was younger because we loved reading books, but he put them right into his mouth. He was practically eating the edges of his board books. We have two of these books. I liked them because we could look at the pictures and make up a story, and if he decided to take a bite, than that was okay, too.
