Wow! A truly superior guide for fly fishing Idaho. The author has assembled extensive maps, seasonal information, local regulations, hatch and fly recommendations, and numerous practical tips presented in a very user-friendly format. Great for both novice and seasoned anglers. It exceeded my expectations in every way and sets the standard for regional fishing guide books. I will definitely purchase other "No Nonsense Guides." If I don't catch fish armed with this information, I should just buy 'em at the supermarket!

Save your money and just check with the local fly shops. You can get all the stream and waters information from the Idaho game and fish department or a local flyshop. They will have much more information than is shown in this book. Spend the money you saved in the local fly shop on something useful like flies or leaders.
This book could have been only 30 pages long if you took out the drawings of fish and fishing flies and used regular print not large print just to fill the space. Not worth the money. |
