This book had all the lakes in it that I wanted. I was looking for a book with all trout lakes in it and this has them all. I like that he tells you if it is a carry down, or a walk to. A walk to is a long walk with a canoe.

useful, but not a how-to reference,
This review is from: Fly Fishing Minnesota's Trout Lakes (Paperback)
This book collects lots of information that is publically available from the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources and presents it in a concise, useful format. A brief description of tactics and flies begins the volume, but most of the space is taken up by tables of lakes. A better book for tactics is Fly-Fishing the North Country, (Perich).
