The most useless fly-fishing book I ever read !....
I bought this book based on its title, under expectations that it was a "specialized" book on leader design / knots for intermediate / advanced fishermen. In reality, it merely offers a basic list of (some) leader formulas, along with drawings of basic knots. Similar, if not better, information can be obtained on the web for free.... There is no discussions at...

I bought this book based on its title, under expectations that it was a "specialized" book on leader design / knots for intermediate / advanced fishermen. In reality, it merely offers a basic list of (some) leader formulas, along with drawings of basic knots. Similar, if not better, information can be obtained on the web for free.... There is no discussions at all on leader design , length, flexibility, knots resistance.... Bottom-line: there is nothing there you would not get in any introductory book on fly fishing, or on the web... For more advanced levels, looking for details on leader design, try "drag-free drift" by Kissane, "techniques of fly fishing" by Georges Harvey, or "Presentation" by Borger.
