Pros
- Solid cover with a good feel and finish
- Bluetooth keyboard synced easily
- Secure fit
- When closed, keys do not touch screen

Cons
- Not very secure standing in landscape mode
- Impossible to place in portrait mode

I bought this cover after deliberating between this and some leather covers. Overall I am glad I selected this as it adds minimal bulk and I can fit the whole thing easily into a sleeve making it very portable. I had no problem syncing through bluetooth and the keys seem to work fine. I know there are other similar covers on Amazon and a lot of people comment about the uncomfortable keys, keystroke repetition, and fading of the ink on the letters. Yes, it is a bit cramped but that is to be expected and it is still vastly superior to the onscreen keyboard if you need to type at length. I have not had any problems with repetition and we'll see if the ink fades.

The one drawback is that it does not sit very securely in landscape mode. it is fine on a flat surface but anything other and I doubt it will stay in. I have some long plane flights coming up and look forward to testing it on the seat trays while in motion. As for portrait, forget about it, it definitely does not stay upright.

All in all I think this is a good case at a decent price.

The letters on the primary keys rubbed off within a couple of weeks. This item "works", but it is NOT high quality by any stretch of your imagination.

UPDATE: After I wrote this review, I received a comment here (on 02/10/14) from a representative of the company requesting I email them and give them an opportunity to remedy their poor product workmanship. After I immediately responded here and via email (as they requested), I see now that they've removed their public offer to fix their error and has never responded to my email. Here's the comment they removed:

"Thomas John says:
Hello,
Thanks for posting and sorry about the defect with the keyboard.
Please email us at support@eflystone.com so we can get this fixed for you today, hassle free and no cost.

I hope you can give us a chance to fix this."

Sounds genuine, huh? Nope.

DON'T PURCHASE THIS KEYBOARD. POOR QUALITY AND DECEPTIVE CUSTOMER SERVICE. Not a good combination.

Works pretty well. After a few months of kicking my Nexus around, though, its edges are a little worn. That means the stand slot in the keyboard, which barely holds the tablet in place, slips very easily. Don't even think about standing your tablet upright in the slot.

The keys work fairly well, but the unusual keyboard layout are a bit awkward. I certainly type faster with this physical keyboard than with swipe or the on-screen keyboard, though. And having the full screen

The keyboard does a great job protecting the screen, IMO. I often pocket the tablet and case -- which is perfectly sized for cargo shorts and other men's big-pocketed pants -- and take it for a walk or around town, sans backpack. Battery life is great; I've never run it dry. Bluetooth connectivity is solid. After a while it times out to save power, which is ideal. Press a key and within a second, it comes back on and you see they key you pressed. The shift/alt/control keys may not take effect in that oddball case.

I mainly use this keyboard when I want to write a long document or do some programming on a Windows machine, which I access via the 2X Remote Desktop client. The biggest downside to this and other Nexus keyboard cases is the lack of function keys. Yes, I see that there is a "Fn" key and that you can press the digit keys in combination with the Fn key, but those functions have nothing to do with Windows function keys. Sad panda has to rely on menus and mouse instead of handy F5, F10, and other useful programming shortcuts.

The back is rubberized similarly to the Nexus, which is great, but there are four foot-nubs on the corners to deal with uneven surfaces. One of them has lost its rubbery coating on mine, revealing the hard metal nub underneath.

I am having trouble opening the case once it is closed with the Nexus 7 securely inside. Works well but it seems like over time I am going to scratch the Nexus cover by having to use my fingernails to open the case. It closes as securely as a clam shell but it does not open as conveniently as I would have wished, I have contacted amazon feedback about this issue and it has only been a couple of hours, so I hope to hear something from them or Flystone soon about how you are suppose to open and close the case and the nexus with out harming the nexus.

I will update this review when I hear from the seller. I am hoping they will design a latch that will open the case and allow purchasers the option of a free repair or replacement with a fix since being able to open the device once it is closed is a very important issue.

I like the sleekness of this case. But it doesn't connect automatically. I've found that I have to unpaired and re-pair every time. Based on reviews it looks like another reviewer has this same issue? Plus the part that protrudes (right under the space bar) is in the way of your thumb so it makes typing the space bar with your thumb very difficult.

Are other users having the issue with having to unpaid/re-pair every time??
