An imaginary delight!,
This review is from: Flyaway Katie (Hardcover)
This is such a charming story. Little Katie is feeling gray and what does she do, but add some color and splash to her day. The illustrations are bright and fun. And while you're enjoying the story, you're learning about colors and how to make the best of a gray day in a spunky, imaginative way. I'm reading this to my 18 month old already!

Great Imagination,

My daughters (ages 2-4-6) loved this book. We checked it out at the library and they didn't want to return it. The story and the pictures are great and really fired up my kid's imagination. I'm going to get it for my 4 y.o. for Christmas since she loved it the most.

Polly Dunbar's Flyaway Katie is a wonderful story. I bought this book for my 4 year old grandaughter and it's now her favourite! So I'm keeping an eye out for Polly's next book. I shall be first in the queue!

A Preschool Favorite!,
By
This review is from: Flyaway Katie (Paperback)
I checked this book out from our local library on a whim and it became an instant favorite in our preschool class. The illustrations are a beautiful, creative inspiration and the simple but thoughtful story is engaging for all of our children, ages two and a half to five. I never tired of reading it and it inspired us to do a Polly Dunbar author study (the children also recommend Penguin). I just wish it was still available in the more durable hardback version!

Just about perfect,

I first bought this book for our granddaughter (then 3). She soon had memorized every word and declared it her favorite book, an "always read" every time we visited. Same reaction from a niece (4) and another 4-year-old in Mexico. So I am buying it again for the older sister (3) of a new baby. I am sure the color and spirit of Flyaway Katie will make any slightly gray day much brighter.

We bought this for our KATIE. She is 3 1/2 and loves it, as does our 1 1/2 year old. The pictures are beautiful and the message is sweet and simple. Katie loves having a book with her name!

Flyaway Katie,
This review is from: Flyaway Katie (Paperback)
I bought this book for a very bright 2 year old niece who is already able to read very well. I was a little unsure which book to buy her but I have this and a couple of other Polly Dunbar books so thought even a bright 2 year old would enjoy this story. I was right, she loves it!!!!
