This Pogo Stick is the " THE BOMB ". This is sturdy and well made with quality materials.

This product is great. My niece and nephew love hopping around on this thing. It's a little easier for him because he's a little heavier.

I was really concerned about ordering a pogo stick online, especially after seeing the dangerous reviews of some pogo sticks out there. However, we are very pleased with the high-quality construction of this "retro" pogo stick, and so far it is holding up very well under near-constant use by an energetic girl using it in all kinds of questionable English weather. I would recommend this item to anyone else who happens to be searching for a pogo stick, too.

My daughter received this as a Christmas gift a couple of months ago. She was initially not able to do it at all, because the spring was to tight. Recently she seems to have gotten the hang of it and has been spending 30-60 min. a day playing with it. I was horrified to discover the bruising that was on the insides of her knees today. Because she uses her knees and thighs to grip the stick so it doesn't fall over, the edges of the square in the middle have given her terrible bruises. The retro design is cool and looks exactly like it came from "Santa's Workshop", but not worth it. We will replace it with a more modern one that has a looser spring and is made of metal and plastic.

This pogo stick looks good if you want to hang it on the wall, or show it to friends. But, it doesn't work for my grandchild, whom I bought it for. Her weight is too light, and there is no way to adjust the spring. And, it doesn't work for me either, and I am in the recommended weight range. And it cost too much to send it back. Disappointed, to say the least. Unacceptable product for use as intended.

I was really happy with this pogo stick until I found out it was wood. What the heck am I going to do with a pogo stick that I can't jump through fire while using?

In general,the retro pogo sticks were fine. I ordered 20 of them to give as gifts at a project kickoff meeting. The project had a tie-in with 'jumping' and we decided the pogo sticks would be clever and fun. After placing the order, I found the exact same pogo sticks, from the same vendor, on Amazon for $20 less. I called Amazon to request they refund the difference. I was told that I could ship all the sticks (which showed up in 20 separate boxes BTW) back to Amazon and then replace the others. I did not have time to do this. Someone called back to tell me the difference in sticks was that mine came with a brass plate on the stick that said "retro pogo stick" or something like that? The only problem...most of the plates fell off the sticks during shipping.
