I used to sell RC heli's.. So I knew exactly what to expect when I bought this - a relatively durable, but flimsy-looking 2ch heli that can barely fly straight. The trims are hard to figure out, and this is absolutely not an outside toy (unless it's completely dead outside, as wind will send this thing flying). Other than that though - awesome little office toy I bought for my GF. It's actually really durable compared to models I used to sell.. And the charge lasts about 7 minutes of consistent flight time.

If you're expecting an advanced flying machine - you're silly for thinking this was it. And that's in no way a negative/complaint towards the product or the seller.

People generally take this the wrong way when you give it to them, but now that it exists there is a more serious issue: every time I don't show up with one of these to a birthday party I hear about how I didn't give one when I selected my gift.

This is a pretty fun little aircraft. It's not very controllable though. Up and down is all you really control. It's pretty fragile as well. I felt I got my moneys worth before 1 of propellors broke. It still flies but is very irratic now.

All you can control is up and down
Very cheaply thrown together
controller /charger takes 6 AA batteries
pros
This makes for a great gift to get a laugh out of someone
bottom line
Don't expect it to last more than a few flights before falling to pieces

Well now you can. Yeah, it's silly. No, it is not very controllable. Yes, it's a great gift for that special someone.

I've given a couple of them to friends and they have been a hit (OK, my friends are a little weird). The controller give you up and down but the directional control is poor as there is no tail rotor for stability. The directional control changes the direction of rotation of the words (silly that I can't include the product name as shown on the site in the review as it violates the posting guidelines - oh well), and it's very temperamental when it comes to wind currents (read A/C or heater on) so it's not all that great outside.

Next on the list of things to do is to carefully separate the foam words from the motor casing and attach them to a slightly larger R/C helicopter for better control - then I'll be able to fly it into other rooms or offices.

Fun while it lasted. But it won't charge any more. And after just 2 weeks and just a few light crashes. Disappointed.

The battery life didn't last long. The product is very comical but when it takes 6 AA batteries and it lasts like 30 mins before it drains the battery completely and need recharging.
