I am still regretting Ali Campbell leaving UB40 :(. Even though, I have been a HUGE fan of UB40 from the beginning (early 80's), I never got to see them play until right after Ali had left the band! I am so glad, though that Ali continues to put out such great music. His voice is so distinct and his music makes me HAPPY! My only observation is that it seems like Ali does not feel all that comfortable being a "solo" singer because even though he has the BEST voice, he has all kinds of "guest" artists performing with him. The songs, lyrics and music are FABULOUS, but c'mon, Ali, if you wanted to be solo, lets hear YOU sing!!! I love you Ali, please keep making beautiful music and DO CONSIDER GOING BACK to your original roots! I will always follow you no matter where you go but you will never be a better match for you than UB40!

Following his late-2007 solo album Running Free, which was excellent, UB40 leader/songwriter/leadsinger ALI CAMPBELL sends out another classic, featuring the lovely and catchy single "Out From Under", a cover of Tom Jones "She's A Lady", and other inspired originals and covers. With a familiar variety of reggae and pop styles, and an array of guest performers, this is, as I have said in other reviews of Ali and UB40, further proof that for most fans, Ali Campbell WAS UB40.
If you loved UB40, you'll love this.

This is a wonderful album, i like it even more than "Running Free". This is reggae for all, you can party with your friends or enjoy it relaxing at home. This is a great example, one more time, of the crossover style of UB40, maybe the only white band who can play this kind of music with the right feel. What more can i say? Buy this album and enjoy this wonderful music!

Mediocre at best - no actually it's really bad music. Listened to a friend's copy and I won't be buying it. Frenetic melodies, contrived lyrics. The whole album sounds like they worked really hard to come up with songs to get something, anything out when they really don't have anything soulful or original to play for us.
