Absolutely essential... March 21, 1999

Format:Audio CD
Brian Eno hailed this album as a masterpiece, and I have to agree. It's thoughtfull, spacey, highly melodic ambient music, with occasional beats... A fantastic soundtrack for a psychedelic experience. I'd say with this and the Orb's Adventures Beyond the Ultraworld, you have the litmus for the early 90's techno-ambient revival.

Marred only by the occasional samples of dull monologue, Flying High is guaranteed to bring you bring you back to earth after the club or take you to a higher place at the end of a long day. Minimal chillage.

I had this album the first year it came out and was astounded by its simplicity, yet moving sound. I recently came across the album again and feel just as strongly.
