Major Donald Kehoe was one of the earliest key players in governement UFO research, and this book is a must have for any serious UFO researcher. Throughout the 1950s, Major Keyhoe conducted ongoing UFO investigations and public inquiry into the existence of Unidentified Flying Objects, and this book is the culmination of that work. Conclusion, UFOs ARE real! This has been goingon for a long,long, time, and Major Kehoe covers the post war UFO flap thoroughly.

This book is short and sweet and to the point. Major Donald Keyhoe was an experienced officer who was an avid flier. He started out as a skeptic to UFOs, but started to change his mind when he actually met and talked to witnesses. He also found out the military did not want to talk about this subject and wondered why if they did not think there was anything to it.

Major Keyhoe wrote this book about his experiences in ufology and trying to get to the bottom of it. It is a short and straight forward book that pulls no punches. If one is interested in UFO research, this early book should help them get started as it is historic now.

Major Keyhoe should also be commended for his courage as many who reported on this subject were considered kooks back in the 1950s. The Major gave it credibility and treated it with respect and reason. Major Keyhoe does believe that UFOs are intelligent craft from another world (the ET hypothesis), and does show the reports to support his claim.

This book will make a perfect gift for the ufologist in your family. It is also a good book for a skeptic to read to give them a perspective which is reasonable.
