It was finding a dusty old secondhand copy of the above mentioned book, that started me off on a 10 year exploration, adventure, virtually an obsession in fact, such was the depth of information contained. This was a UFO book unlike any i had ever read, and i have been reading UFO related Book's, Magazines, News clip's,watched and viewed TV programs and Films, ever science i was a little kid, 1959 Unlike any other book, because it contains UFO map's, map's that plotted UFO Sightings over a Year LONG period, and so :- UFO activity ! UFO ACTIVITY that could be STUDIED.... VERY SCIENTIFIC TECHNIQUES AND AN UNBIASED APPROACH, LEARN ABOUT UFO MAPPING, WITH INSIGHTS, LIKE:- THE STRAIGHT LINE CONECTEDNESS OF UFO ACTIVITY - ORTHOTENY - A MUST READ FOR ANY WELL BALANCED INTEREST IN UFO'S

4.0 out of 5 stars Excellent research by the author, July 9, 2001
By A Customer
This review is from: Flying Saucers and the Straight-Line Mystery (Hardcover)
The author, Aime Michel, did an excellent job of researching cases and formulating his theory. While history since the books 1958 publication seems unkind to his theory, it was an interesting take on a subject that is too often ridiculed by clueless people who have not properly researched the evidence. You can say what you want about Michel's conclusions, but he treated the subject with respect and put a lot of work into it. He deserves our respect on that note. If some of the so-called experts and debunkers would put 10% of Michel's effort into the subject, maybe I would stop regarding them as clueless jokes.
