The second section contains interviews with dozens of top fly fishing guides from all sections of Florida. The guides share information on access, types of fishing available, best times of the year, favorite spots and flies, and a great deal of little known how-to information. The third section discusses fly selection and contains detailed descriptions on tying locally important fly patterns.
The Florida coastline is more than 2000 miles long. No single book could possibly cover every inch of it. This book pinpoints easily available fly fishing opportunities from all over the Sunshine State. I want anyone to be able to visit any area in Florida with or without a boat, fly tackle in hand, and find an hour, a day, a week, or a lifetime of quality fishing.
Good luck fly fishing in Florida's great saltwaters!

This review is from: Flyrodding Florida Salt, Revised Edition (Paperback)
This book is an excellent reference for anyone looking to find out more about fly fishing in Florida's salt water. The layout makes it easy to find the type of fishing opportunities you are looking for (wading, paddling, power boat). The author did his homework putting this together including interviewing guides and other fisherman that know specific areas better than he does.
I would highly recommend this book to any fly fisher interested in fishing Florida's coast. Bait and lure fisherman would benefit as well.
