Nice holster - not perfect, April 17, 2008
First, I got this holster because I was signed up for a shooting class, and it seemed like a good idea to have one. Also, since I wasn't planning on carrying my gun as a sidearm, the price was right.
The holster is made of a hard, yet flexible plastic, so when you place the paddle inside your pants it's pretty damn confortable. The problem is the holster is made for military/police use, so the design is rather unique. It holds your gun in place by grabbing the trigger guard when fully inserted. Drawing the gun is accomplished by giving the gun a quick, hard draw. Pulling slowly will not remove the gun and only give you a wedgy. So, it stays secure if you are running or jumping, and if someone tries to grab your gun they will find it difficult to do so. I couldn't get my gun out of the holster until I read the directions.
So, if you are looking for an inexpensive paddle holster that will really secure your gun without any kind of a strap, this may be what you are looking for. But, if you are looking for a holster that simply cradles your gun, allowing for a smooth, effortless draw, you might want to keep looking. I mean, it works and it's nice, but it's no $100 custom leather holster.
As for concealment: If you can figure out how to conceal a Baretta 92 on your side in a paddle holster, I guess you can use it for concealment.

Good Value for the $, February 18, 2007
All Fobus Holsters are of good quality and will secure a handgun well. You can adjust the draw tension through the use of two screws on this side. This holster is NOT suitable for concealed carry....it sits too far away from the body, but for open carry of range use it is excellent. I have used one on my last two deployments for carrying a Baretta M-9 (Model 92F) aroind the FOB. I have not used it "outside the wire"....a thigh holster fits the bill for that task. Overall a decent holster for it's intended use.

You could buy a more expensive holster, but why would you want to?, April 28, 2009
This is an absolutely incredible holster! My pistol fits snugly in the holster, yet is easy to draw. The holster stays put, and doesn't move at all on the belt. If you are looking for a good holster at a reasonable price, it would be hard to beat this paddle holster.
