5.0 out of 5 stars You cannot really do without it, July 19, 1999
This review is from: Focloir Gaeilge-Bearla/Irish-English Dictionary (Paperback)
That's it. If you are serious about learning Irish, you simply cannot do without it. I gave it five stars because it is simply the best, and not too expensive, for such a big and comprehensive dictionary.

5.0 out of 5 stars Outstanding; a must-have resource, September 2, 2010
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Focloir Gaeilge-Bearla/Irish-English Dictionary (Paperback)
I agree, this dictionary is indispensable. A thorough, well-written dictionary, it is so helpful in providing many, many examples of common usage. I think it is a must-have for learning Irish as you begin reading more. The 'school' dictionary I first used is also excellent and valuable, but there are times you won't find what you need there. The O'Donaill's Focloir Gaeilge-Bearla is a wonderful resource. Do not hesitate to buy it; it's worth every cent and more.
