Product Description

Amco Half Size Sheet Pan is manufactured to meet the exacting standards of the toughest commercial bakeries and food service establishments. Each pan is crafted from heavy-gauge aluminized steel, a 3-ply material consisting of two layers of tough corrosion-resistant 18-guage 3003 aluminum alloy around the durability, strength and superior heat conduction of carbon steel. The frame is supported by a thick, coated reinforcing wire to give the pan additional strength and insure greater durability. Bottom of pan is concave and will flatten during heating for even distribution. Natural finish.

This is an excellent pan, handsome, substantial and versatile. It's a bit wider and shorter than the others in my inventory, but it's still a vast improvement over the junk that's generally available in stores. I'd give it five stars, except for one pet peeve. I'll phrase the problem as a word of advice to Amco: WHEN YOU ATTACH THE !@#$%^& PRODUCT LABEL, DO IT WITH GLUE THAT CAN BE EASILY REMOVED!

It IS the correct size for a half sheet pan. A half sheet pan wire rack will fit into it perfectly. (one reviewer complained about the dimensions).
I just don't like cooking on or trying to clean aluminum for any cookware, but this pan has excellent construction. I think a far superior pan, although very expensive is the Gourmet Standard, which is stainless on the outside with an aluminum core (tri-ply). The Amazon listing calls it a 16" jelly roll pan, but that's wrong, it's a half sheet pan...(check out Gourmet Standard's website).

I purchased two of the Amco Food Service Half Sheet Pans to use as general baking sheets and as drip pans in my oven. These are good industrial grade kitchen sheet pans with good weight and a wire-filled "rolled" edge.

My pans were only 1/128th of an inch too small so I'm going to cut the company a little slack on this!
