This is an excellent pan, handsome, substantial and versatile. It's a bit wider and shorter than the others in my inventory, but it's still a vast improvement over the junk that's generally available in stores. I'd give it five stars, except for one pet peeve. I'll phrase the problem as a word of advice to Amco: WHEN YOU ATTACH THE !@#$%^& PRODUCT LABEL, DO IT WITH GLUE THAT CAN BE EASILY REMOVED!

It IS the correct size for a half sheet pan. A half sheet pan wire rack will fit into it perfectly. (one reviewer complained about the dimensions).
I just don't like cooking on or trying to clean aluminum for any cookware, but this pan has excellent construction. I think a far superior pan, although very expensive is the Gourmet Standard, which is stainless on the outside with an aluminum core (tri-ply). The Amazon listing calls it a 16" jelly roll pan, but that's wrong, it's a half sheet pan...(check out Gourmet Standard's website).

I purchased two of the Amco Food Service Half Sheet Pans to use as general baking sheets and as drip pans in my oven. These are good industrial grade kitchen sheet pans with good weight and a wire-filled "rolled" edge.

My pans were only 1/128th of an inch too small so I'm going to cut the company a little slack on this!

I only just received them, but so far am impressed with the pans. They noticeably feel like higher quality pans than anything else I have. BUT.

As other reviewers have noted, the adhesive from the stickers truly will not come off. This is an annoyance for any other product; it is simply unacceptable on food-contact products. We should not have to worry about what nasty smells, flavors or chemical contamination a burning industrial grade adhesive will impart to our food when we put these into the oven.

I picked, scraped (with plastic stoneware scraper), soaked, scrubbed, applied Goo Gone for five minutes, scraped some more, applied Goo Gone for an hour, scraped some more. No effect. Then I applied Goo Gone and allowed them to sit overnight. Then I scraped and scratched some more. Finally, *MOST* of the stickers came off.

I'm still reluctant to use them because of the residue. I find it impossible to believe the manufacturer can't fix this problem.

Great size and a durable sheet/pan. Easy to clean by hand and fits in my dishwasher as well. I bought it with a cooling rack that fits perfectly (also from Amazon, made by the Culinary Institue of America), and now I can make foods intended for pan frying in the oven for a healthier and less messy alternative (bacon, breaded cutlets, wings, etc). A great buy!

Purchased this pan for basic baking, rolls, meatballs, roasted vegetables, sheet cake. It works well. Good quality and so far has preformed it function as expected. Good value for the price.

These are great all around sheet pans. It is a true half-sheet size and the half sheet Silpat fits perfectly (DeMarle 2409 Silpat 11-5/8-by-16-1/2-Inch Nonstick Silicone Baking Mat). Amazon's product dimensions are a bit off as the pan has slightly tapered edges and the external measurements are 17 7/8 inches by 12 7/8 inches but the interior measurement is 16 3/4 inches long by 11 3/4 inches wide wide and 1 inch deep. The pan weights in at 1 pound 15.5 oz (~890 grams) and is very sturdy. In addition the wire rims inside the rolled aluminum edge add a lot of support and make it easy to remove from the oven. I have bought a number of these pans (8) and another reviewer who commented about the UPC sticker being hard to remove has a point but it is on the bottom and if you remove it prior to washing or using its really not that hard.

Excellent pan, that always looks new and shiny. Great for oven roasting vegetables,baking chicken or catching the juices from an overflowing pie. They make a great gift. I bought two for my daughter as well.

This half sheet pan is a half inch shorter and a quarter inch narrower than other half sheet pans. It doesn't stack nicely with the others I have and had I known this I would not have ordered it.

I may be too particular but as for look and feel, this Amco half sheet pan rates 5 stars. BUT, I agree with others about the label on the underside of the pan. The paper part peeled off nicely. The glue residue was another matter. I think I finally got nearly all of it off but there still is a mark where the label was. It is irritating especially when another piece of bakeware that I got at the same time had labels that came off easily without any residue....so it is possible!
