The AMCO Food Service 10-Inch Pie Pan, is one of my favorite Pie Pans, because of its size and how well they are made, over 10 1/2 Inches Wide and very Deep, I got two of them, Great Price, nothing Scratches them, I wash them by hand after I make Potato Pies, Quiches and other Dishes and sometimes even Pies. This is the "Pie Horse" in my Kitchen the one I'm always reaching for and after two years, they still look like New! I love them. Please Check Posted Pictures of Baking with the Pie Pan. Thank You

I love to make flakey pies and this type of pan is my favorite. I use several recipes, but the secret is temperature. Keep the flour and other ingredients very cold until baking. I measure shortening in a measuring cup partly full of ice and water, then use the ice water for any liquid.

When making whole wheat crust, put a little egg white (you can buy it dry) in the dough to hold it together better, add other ingredients, roll out (cold), and use a good, heavy aluminum pie pan like this one for a tender, flakey crust. Don't forget to cover the crust edges with a strip of aluminum foil to reduce scorching.

This pie pan is a true 10 inch pan which is so hard to find. If you are tired of the 8 3/4" pans for recipes that need a full size pan, this is the one for you!

I have a couple of pie recipes that yield more than can be contained in the standard 8 3/4" to 9" pie pan. This pie pan was the perfect solution as I have been unable to obtain this pan size locally.

I admit that I bought this pie pan for the great price, but when I recieved it I realized that it was also a great value. It's a strong, heavy pan which means that it will last through many pies made for my family. Then I used it and it proved to be even a greater value as my pie came out beautiful and evenly baked. Anyone who loves baking will love this pan.
