Disappointed,
By A Customer
This review is from: Focus Groups: A Step-By-Step Guide (Spiral-bound)
I was very disappointed to find this was a spiral bound publication as I was expecting a book. The information included in it was stuff that was pretty standard and nothing helpful. It did not help me at all with my Focus Groups. It is not really a step by step guide but rather an advertisement for Bader.

Terrific, Practical Guidebook,

We do many focus groups in our company and I had all my staff use this practical guide. The follow-up suggestions and role definitions are most useful.

I found this an easy and useful guide as I ran my first focus groups. The checklist itself is work the cost and the sample summaries are valuable.

A Great How To for your first or 40th time,

Just reviewed the new addition and just love it! For me , this spiffy, bound manual is the only how to guide you'd need to either conduct your first focus group (and do it well), or a quick refresher for those of us (like me) who just needed to remind ourselves of key things we need to know and do before, during and after the process.

It works!,

I followed Gloria's methodology with success in organizing a series of focus groups in the organization where I work. By following the agendas and sample letters, I saved considerable time in planning phase. This guide raised my awareness of the details that must be attended to in implementing and summarizing the results of a focus group. With Gloria's suggestions, I felt confident and well-prepared. I recommend this guide especially for those who have never conducted focus groups or those, like myself, who have not done focus groups for many years and need a refresher.

This book is an excellent guide to focus groups. It gave me all the information I was looking for and it is has a nice glossy cover that is durable for carrying around from meeting to meeting! Definitely worth the 20 bucks.
