Direct to the material!
This is a great reference for amateur and low-advanced tabla players that are seeking for material for improving and consolidating their technique. It is great for learning new material for soloing in tintal, ektal, keharva... indeed almost all thekas. I've not found such an organized kaida reference like this, it has even an index for quick finding at the end of the book. The book also includes theory of the kaida and how to use them for composing solos or practising lessons for teaching and mastering. Moreover, differences between gharanas are taken into account. But remember this is an advanced material, for sure it is not for beginners, unless he has a guru teaching him.
