4.0 out of 5 stars 1st Review, May 30, 2000

This CD is a collection of 10 good straight-forward tunes with a nice mix of styling attitudes from each of the songs; from a reggae beat in "Tickin' away", to a bit of a harder edge on "Think about me", there are some catchy melodies on the disc, and some great lyrics. My favorites would probably have to be "Honestly", "I'm not telling", and "Apparition" (which also has a nice piano part added). The CD is also produced well, and sounds good on a variety of sound systems. I bought it, and am glad I did so. Good job guys!

5.0 out of 5 stars I was impressed, June 12, 2000

I heard "Lost my head" on our college radio station and it just grew on me. I was surprised that the whole album had hit after hit. My current favorite tune on this album is "I'm not telling". "Apparition" seems to be growing on me too. If you like Matchbox 20, Collective Soul or Marvelous3 I recommend givng this one a listen too.

5.0 out of 5 stars Focus more than rocks - it is outstanding!!, October 9, 2001

I was fortunate to attend the Rock for Tots put on by these guys and they are even more awesome in person! The lead singer plays guitar with talent like Van Halen and Cheap Trick and has an awesome voice! The drummer contributes personality and talent as well - and sings too! This is one of the best alternative albums I own and the music sticks in my head so I listen to it a lot! I love their lyrics - they hit close to home! Thanks for an awesome album guys!!

WOW! This is the best CD purchase I've made in a long time. Their great live too. That Dave Kotlan guy is a wizard on the guitar and "Big Hurly" is the baddest drummer I've ever met. I had the privilege of meeting them back stage and was really impressed with their down to earth, fun loving nature. If your going to see them live be sure to keep a tight grip on your girlfriend, you might just loose her.
