I bought both this book and "The Gringo's Guide to Acapulco" from this site to prepare for a trip to Acapulco. Both were very helpful. I would recommend buying more than one book for an Acapulco trip because the different authors have different preferences. This book recommended some decent restaurants, markets and activities for our party.

We read this book before we took our trip to Acapulco and found it very helpful. After reading it we felt much more confident to travel and go on our own. Acapulco is beautiful and we had a wonderful time.
