A useful little pocket book
I found this a really useful little pocket book, crammed with helpful information and just enough historical detail to start with. I'd have liked just a few photos in the book to give a flavor of what can be seen. Combining closely-located Savannah and Charleston into one pocket guide is a good idea.

Just okay
The Savannah section of this guide is only 30 pages out of 165. 1 map is very small. If you plan on spending any more than 2 days in the city I think you would want a more detailed book.

Overall a good book for the money. Easy to slip in to a purse or backpocket and take with you. The descriptions are short, so if you are looking for more about the history, detail, and charm of the area go with the Moon Charleston and Savannah book.
