4.0 out of 5 stars In depth coverage, but not for the super-budget traveler, March 26, 2000
By A Customer
This review is from: Fodor's France 2000: Expert Advice and Smart Choices, Updated Anually, with a Full-Size Map and Color Planning Section (Paperback)
Unlike Fodor's Europe 2000, the France guide covers all areas of France (and not just Paris) in good depth telling you things to do and see, extensive listings of hotels and food places. The only problem with the book is that if you're traveling on a really tight budget (i.e. a student budget) the inexpensive listings aren't as inexpensive as can be found elsewhere. There aren't terribly many listings listed, and if you're a student (or someone with a studen's budget) try Lonely Planet or Let's Go instead.
