Good, but skims the surface,

This is a good place to start if you're thinking about going to Maui, though if you really want to get into the nitty-gritty, I highly recommend Maui Revealed by Andrew Doughty, which goes into a lot more candid reviews about restaurants and lodgings. Read this to get the scope of the island and decide whether you want to go (of course you do!) - read Maui Revealed after you've booked the airfare.
