4.0 out of 5 stars Don't Plan a Trip Without It!, December 16, 2010
By
This review is from: Fodor's Montreal & Quebec City 2009 (Travel Guide) (Paperback)
My family and I are going to Quebec City this winter and I came upon this book at our local library. It is excellent! Other travel guides focused heavily on Montreal and only designated a dozen pages or so to Quebec City. Howrbrt, Fodor's is different in that half of the book is devoted to Quebec City. Additionally, there are sections on day trips outside of both cities that most people are not aware of. The descriptions of eateries, shops, and attractions are in depth enough to help you choose what we want to do and see but they are not overwhelming. Another great feature of this guide is that there is a brief English-French dictionary in the back with a pronunciation guide. Even with all of these information packed in, it is still small enough to carry with you on your trip.
