4.0 out of 5 stars Quick guide plus, July 26, 2009
This review is from: Fodor's See It Provence and the Cote d'Azur, 1st Edition (Paperback)
"Fodor's See It--Provence & the Cote d'Azur" goes a step or two beyond once over lightly and gives the user a handy reference for a quick tour of the principal cities and towns of the Cote d"Azur plus some side trips inland. It's well organized, contains some unusually good maps and is pretty good on basic information about institutional opening times, climate, etc.

If you are looking for something with more complete background on culture, history, off beat attractions, regional itineraries or something with a lot illustrations, this Fodor guide may disappoint. It is basically a good short reference if you're on the move in the south of France and want some general background and limited specific info.
