Galileo's Planetarium Gold can display the sky from anywhere on Earth at any point in time. It includes over 200 galaxies and 20 million stars from NASA's GSC database. Also included is a real 30x telescope.
Click on any celestial body in the sky, and view the object as seen from a telescope. See galaxies, planets, constellations, and nebulae. You can also see real-time or lapse-time animations of the movements of celestial bodies, and use your favorite animations as screensaver patterns. The software's database includes 20 million celestial bodies, and over 200 images from the Hubble space telescope. Search for any objects in the sky using the find-object menu. View the solar system and any planet's relative position in real time, along with the phases of the moon. This package also allows you to name any star in the solar system and see the name in sky-view mode. Register your star name at the Planetarium Gold Web site. And, 88 major constellations can be viewed with high-quality illustrations and facts about their mythological histories.

Not really for MAC,

I really can't give a review because I ordered this product to use on a MAC and the box is marked as a Window 95, 98, NT, 2000 product. Make sure you have one of these operating systems before ordering
