I have used my cart for two years now and it's still as good as new. I've moved dirt, gravel and stones in it. Really easy to move when it's full, much easier to dump than a wheelbarrow because you don't use your back at all. I've taken it camping with us and it was great for carrying wood and water to our campsite. Great for my height, I'm 5'6".

Great cart for the small garden - very sturdy and holds heavy brush very well. Moves smoothly over uneven ground. Easy to store. Only problems I have with it are the stems on the tires are too short to use inflation tool. I had to get extenders from auto supply. The handle could be higher. Great customer service- hanging bar was missing and they had it to me in a few days with no questions asked!

Overall I am happy with this cart. We use it to transport "stuff" from out car to our boat. Three complaints: 1) I'm 6'2" and the handle is too low for me. 2) after only two months of use, it is starting to rust. It's only left outside on the weekends while we boat. Otherwise it's in the garage. 3) It's not that easy to open and close. The cable that connects the two locking arms has to be yanked very forcefully and then the leverage to open it is not very good.So far it has performed well taking coolers, cases of wine and beverages etc. down the 3/8 mile dock to our boat. Beats hunting around the marina for an empty cart and is always there for us when we get back to the dock. This winter I'll paint it a marine blue and get rid of the rust.

Disappointed,
This review is from: Fold-A-Tools TFC-150 Fold-A-Cart 150 Pound Capacity Cart (Tools & Home Improvement)
I ordered this cart as a replacement for a vinyl, one wheel cart. We found it a little tricky to assemble, but that was okay - not my forte'.It's great that the cart has two wheels, helping with balancing uneven loads, etc., but the wheels are much too small/the handle is too short. I am 5'2" and I have to bend over a bit to grab the handle and push the cart. Larger wheels...higher handle. The worst problem is attempting to fold the cart. Following the directions and pushing down the wire while attempting to close does not work for me. Having the directions on the handle is handy, but following the directions does not yield results. I've given up on ever closinging the cart; it is impossible. I like the large capacity, it steers nicely but it is not the cart I would have liked it to be. Wrote this original review 12 months ago. Since then, noted one of the two main screws is bent...probably why it was difficult to assemble. I have closed the cart 3 times; each time requires me to use a huge screw driver to bend back the screw so that I can close. Stand by my original review...handles MUCH too low for average height person (as another reviewer noted); very difficult to close with the flawed screw. Luckily, I found the original light-weight wheel barrow I had wanted to replace, and purchased it. Great find! What good is a 150 capacity when it is too low to push, comfortably, and won't close? Poor choice for me.

Our cart arrived yesterday. It comes 95% assembled. The remaining assembly took less than 5 minutes and couldn't have been easier. There are a total of just TWO bolts to insert through the proper holes in the frame with a spacer inserted between the frame parts the bolts connect, then a lock nut is tightened on each bolt. (The manufacturer supplies the small tools needed.) Then the axle is passed through the axle brackets on the frame, spacers slip over each end of the axle, and the wheels slide onto the axle. The wheels are then secured with snap pins. That's it. Done. I detail this because another reviewer complained that the assembly was "tricky". I wanted to describe just how "tricky" it was so prospective buyers are not mislead.I was very impressed with the whole design. Folding and unfolding the cart is a snap, literally. A simple push with one hand on the cable that connects the two locking snaps on each side, then a pull (or push) on the handle with your other hand and viola... the cart expands and locks open ready for use, or collapses shut ready for storage... all in less than 3 seconds. Big, 15" pneumatic tires assure that moving heavy loads over uneven terrain will be easy. The entire cart is sturdy, very well thought out, and quality built. It will be perfect for our farm or when traveling with our horse trailer.

I recieved the Fold-A-Cart today and immediately had issues. The axle was predrilled for the wheel keeper pins which were off almost 1/2 inch. I could not intall the wheels on the axle. Called the customer service number. The person who answered was grocery shoppping (in Canada) and said she would call me back. She didn't call. I called her the second time and explained the problem. She said she would ship me a new axle but I would have to pay for shipping.....from Canada. I said "no thanks", put the axle on my drill press and re-tooled the axle to make the wheels fit. Don't buy this item unless you have a well equipped shop...there is no customer service help.

I am extremely happy with this wheelbarrow. I've used every weekend now for a month to haul mulch around the yard. It's very sturdy, holds a ton of mulch, very stable and easy to move around the yard without tipping or spilling anything. The handles on the bottom - down by the wheels - making dumping the load very easy. Best of all, when I am finished working for the day I just fold it up and slide it into the garage and it barely takes up any room at all. You get an AWESOME wheelbarrow without having to devote a huge space to store it. Best of both worlds. Highly recommended.

I PUT IT TOGETHER MYSELF AND ADVISE TO USE DIRECTIONS. IT HOLDS A GREAT DEAL AND I USED IT TO HAUL BIG ROCKS FROM ONE SIDE OF THE YARD TO THE OTHER. VERY DURABLE FABRIC AND YES DOES HOLD WATER.

I ordered the cart for my mom. When I received it I realized it would be too bulky and heavy for her to use. There was no invoice or return label included with the shipment, only a packing slip. I took it to the local postal center to ship it back only to find out it would cost more than $90.00 to return. I have called Stacks & Stacks twice and have thus far not received any help returning the cart. They spent $24.00 to ship it to me - I am only asking for a return label so that I can return it at the same cost they paid.Fold-A-Tools FHG-200 Fold-A-Cart Home and Garden 200 Pound Capacity Cart |
