The net wasn't near the quality I thought it was going to be. Just not
made good and sturdy. Good for small fish or stream fishing where you need
compact equipment.
The extension button spring was broke also and I sent it back for a full refund.
Amazon makes returns very user friendly.

this net not only works great but is the strongest net i have owned. it has a metal strip that strengthens the handle. good job

this is a great net. i was looking at the Kevin Vandam Folding Net @ Bass Pro Shops. it is around $90.00. this net is almost identical to it & half the price. i have a fishing buddy who has the Kevin Vandam version. the only difference, is in the handle. the Kevin Vandam model extends 1'-0 futher. I have used this to land a 4+# Bass by myself. it worked great! i would recomend this net 100%! you will not regret it. and you can use the extra cash for more stuff!Fold-A-Way Landing Net FA60N - Hoop 20"x24", Length 5 feet

I bought two of these nets. The first box I opened the net was already broken. Then second was fine. Until I was getting ready to leave to go fishing the next morning and went to show my buddy my new net. I opened it and it broke in the exact same spot as the other one did. Definitely a design flaw. The hinge in the middle of the hoop is made of some sort of cheap material. It would have been so easy to just make an aluminum hinge and it would have worked great. Do yourself a favor don't even think about ordering this net. If you get one that is still intact, trust me it won't be for long.

The landing net arrived with the end plastic hinge on the net hoop broken. The hoop would not stay together. The net was useless. I sent it back and did not want a replacement. I could not trust the cheap design of plastic in a critical stress point. The rest of the net seemed of good quality but the failed plastic hinge spoiled me to getting another net that folds.

My husband and I love the net, it is so much handier to use. We do a lot of lake fishing, and the large net we always carried before took up so much deck space, and always seemed to be in the way. With this net there's not a space issue, and not for storage either.

Very easy to set up and fold away when you're done! The design seems strong and the netting is built tough. I picked this up on Amazon because I needed a good net that could fit in the back of my Subaru Outback without putting in on or over seats. It will do just fine!
