...But then I receive this all white box in the mail. I'm normally thankful with what I have, but when I actually plugged this thing in, typing is impossible. I'll use it below. Please note i'm typing normally.
"ths is wg the keyboard does when i type. Yeah, it works sometimes, but good uvk in a chatroom or for an essay. just buy a nw keyboard that isn't foldable. You'll be glad you did."

Except for not having a number pad, I enjoy how quiet and clean this keyboard is. I don't have to worry about dust like I did with other keyboards. It is comfortable to use.

I purchased this keyboard because I needed something extremely portable I could use on the relatively rare occasions that I work on a server without just remoting in. It is extremely portable and probably reasonably durable (or at least cheap enough to be semi-disposable.)
The primary problem is the keyboard lacks both home and end keys. Given how frequently I use these keys, and particularly because typing speed on this device is much slower than a standard keyboard, it makies using it extremely painful. The worst part is that there are a number of keys which they've doubled or quadrupled up on which could, instead, have been used to provide home and end. I really hadn't expected the device to have fewer keys than the typical laptop keyboard. If you're doing tasks which require frequent use of home and end (copying lines of text for configuration, editing shell scripts, etc.) I would suggest finding a slightly larger foldable keyboard which at least has a complete laptop keyset on it. I consider this a boneheaded enough decision to warrant knocking the device down to two (since I need to go buy a different one.) Otherwise it would have been a four.

On seeing this keyboard, my first thought was "Awesome! I can get this and take it with me for use with my Tablet PC during class and such"
WRONG I buy this, and it comes in the mail, and I plug it in. Now I'm not expecting anything extraordinary, just basic functionality so that I can type quick things in class if I need to. I'm not expecting speed or anything, so I'm patient with it. Typing takes extra pressure with each keystroke, and the keystrokes have to be almost perfectly vertical to register. Ok, no big deal I can do that. But then I notice that about 2 keys don't work. AT ALL. No matter how hard I hit them. Ehh I can live without one of the Shift keys and the plus sign, so I keep it. Well, I continue using it, and pretty soon (about 2 weeks of use in class) about half the keys don't work. HALF. DON'T. WORK. I bought myself Logitech Notebook Kit MK605 Keyboard, Mouse, and Laptop Stand instead. The keyboard is actually smaller than this rubber one, and it works like a charm. Plus it came with a mouse and stand (Granted it's quite a bit more expensive, but I figure you get what you pay for at this point)

this keyboard is very conventient and inexpensive.. but if you are a fast typer it is not for you. i pressed each key quickly like i normally type... but it only registered some of the letters. if you like to type slowly with just your index fingers it works fine.

Bought this keyboard out of impulse! Reminded me of one of those keyboards you see in a hacker movie 0o.. Ship speed was normal, it is very portable and useful! I'm a computer tech and its saves me from having to pull out a full sized keyboard while working on friends and families PC's brought over to my house. Product functions well 5/5.

If you are a klutz who likes to have drinks available while at your computer then this keyboard is great. If you are a very fast typist who likes responsive keys then this keyboard will make you unhappy. It is absolutely waterproof and in order to do that they had to make it from silicone. The problem with this is that the keys are extremely wobbly, you have to hit them dead on in order to get them to respond properly. It will take you some time to get used to how the keyboard responds but once you have adjusted your typing style it works great.

Cheap and unusable keyboard,

This keyboard seems like a good idea. But it is not suitable for regular typing. Quite often you have to press each key twice to insure it types. And trying to type as if it were a regular keyboard is impossible. You have to press straight down on each key. Even the hunt and peck method is not reliable. Don't waste your money on this.

Maybe this is the reason the item is so inexpensive- it is flexible, true, but typing on it takes determination and force. I get a lot of missed keystrokes if I try to type normally. I have to press very firmly and type very slowly. Even so, I have to look at the result as I go to verify the keystroke registered, backspace frequently to put in missing letters. This is not much better than trying to use the onscreen keyboard on my Android device. Also, same behavior when I plug this into a laptop.

For those of us with autistic kids these foldable keyboards are great. They can get wet, dirty and so forth and are easy to clean with a wash cloth. My son bangs his head on it sometimes when frustrated and it still works. All the keys he needs are there. And it is plug'n'play so it works instantly, even on Fedora Linux. All in all, this is a good product for my needs.
