I grew up with Stakmore folding chairs. I never knew the name, but when some of the chairs--which my mom passed on to me many years ago--began to wobble (they're at least four decades old), my husband and I started to look into replacing them. We were concerned that we wouldn't find anything similar because we'd never noticed them in stores. Thank goodness for the Internet. We ordered one pair of these chairs to start, just to check them out. I don't think you can get a more comfortable folding chair. We ended up getting four pairs all together. Because they fold so easily, they store very well in the closet. We are totally satisfied with them and look forward to using them for decades.

We are entirely satisfied with these chairs. They are comfortable and good looking. They look and feel like "real" chairs. And they take up no extra room when they are in storage.
