I did a review on the ALL THINGS CEDAR Red Cedar Adirondack chair in which I compared that chair with this chair from Kilmer Creek. I bought both here on Amazon, at the same time. They both arrived the same day.

This one from Kilmer Creek took me 15 minutes to assemble (it was essentially 70% preassembled in the box). I just needed to attach the back section to the seat section to the arm rest sections... and that was it. The All Things Cedar chair came completely disassembled. We had to put the entire chair together from part one to screw #120. I don't mind such an assembly task, but since I had two Adirondack chairs from two separate companies, the comparison had to be made.

The All Things Cedar chair is a fine chair, now that it's assembled. But this Kilmer Creek chair was easier to assemble, cost about $20 less, and has a wider seat than the other chair.

If I buy another outdoor piece of furniture, it will be from Kilmer Creek for sure.

About 6 years ago, I purchased a 6' long porch swing from Kilmer Creek because of the economical price. We moved, so that swing is now converted into a bench. After breaking a pair of plastic chairs, we decided to pony up for some wooden chairs. I remembered Kilmer Creek as being an excellent value, and that has not changed. The chairs come partially assembled and flat-packed with instructions printed on one page. My husband and I each assembled one, and we were both a bit confused by the heavily abbreviated instructions. All's well that ends well -- there are two beautiful cedar chairs on our deck now. If you are not planning to let them weather naturally, you will want to sand these chairs with some fine grit sandpaper and either paint or varnish them and allow that to completely dry before assembling them.

I could not have been more pleased. Well, I could have used an extra hand for part of the assembly process, but that would have been icing on the cake!!

After seeing Adirondack chairs at a local home & garden store for $300+ (fixed frame, did not fold for easy storage), I decided to give these a try. They are very comfortable.. I did a little light hand sanding on some of the pieces, but other than that I just assembled and began using immediately.

Even in this summer heat I now enjoy sitting on the porch at night watching the day come to a close.

I purchased two beautiful cedar Adirondack chairs from Kilmer Creek. I have been looking for this type of chair for over two years and have not found such a well-made cedar chair in this price range anywhere but Kilmer Creek. The chairs are easily foldable for winter storage which should help them last a good long time. The customer service is friendly and first-rate. I was not happy with the wood on one chair's arm and the company sent out a replacement piece immediately. I will be returning to purchase more chairs and the matching end tables soon:)
