Definitely disappointed in the product. After reading the review, I thought it would be comparable to some of the better name crates, but it is not. The wire used for the crate is definitely not as strong or sturdy as the Lifestages crates that I own. On initial set-up, some of the clips that hold the sides up would not grasp the wall it was supposed to hold and continued to slip free. If the dog figures out with a little bit of pushing, he can get out, I am in trouble. If it would not have cost so much to return, I would have sent it back.

This cage is constructed of very light gauge wire and is better suited for cats than my 5 month old lab puppy. She routinely breaks out of the double lock set up if I don't check and double check the slide locks. I have had to put zip ties on all corners of the cage due to "play" at the lapping over connections to ensure that the cage does not separate when the puppy paws at the door. I have another crate that has much heavier gauge wire and it is like night and day in the durability compared to this new one I bought through Amazon. I would have returned it but I am making due, making my own modifications to keep my puppy from escaping. I wish Amazon or the manufacturer would have put the gauge of the wire on each crate ad in order to help the customer make an informed decision, but none did. Amazon has been a great source for commerce, but this particular product is cheaply made. Beware!
