My wife and I live in Florida and go to the beach every other weekend. After using a cheap beach cart with inadequate wheels for the last couple years, I was willing to spend serious money to get a cart that rolled well on sand and could handle all of our gear: A boombox, a small cooler, two beach chairs and an umbrella. I thought this cart would be the "end all be all" of beach carts. It is not. The wheels are certainly awesome, perfect for the beach sand. However, the cart itself is flimsy, it has a lot of parts and it bends passed the designed positions at times. The wheels simply "click" on which really make me question the longevity of the cart. More annoying, it's weight distribution is poorly engineered. I have to push down on the cart while I drag it, or it will fling back to the upright position! Perhaps it should be a few inches taller to accommodate the weight distribution better, or the wheels moved closer inward towards the base.

I did consider the big brother of this cart, the non-mini version, however, those wheels were just way too big and embarrassing for me to haul around South Beach. Additionally, the price tag of that model is simply unacceptable.

Further down on my complaint list: this thing wobbles a bit and I am worried it will tip at times on uneven terrain. Also, the yellow color is less than preferable for my taste. The straps it came with are fairly useless, and as others have suggested, bungy cords work better.

In conclusion, I do like this cart, however, for the price tag it should not lack in any of the areas aforementioned. While I will continue to use this cart, I would not recommend it at this price point. It could definitely use some improvement. If this cart were half the price I would give it more stars.

******UPDATE******

This cart got a flat after the third use. Bought it less than a month ago and now it can't be used without repair. Hadn't even been 30 days and seller "Beachmall" will not replace nor refund. I am now in the process of dealing with the manufacturer. What a hassle, I wish I never bought this cart. Meanwhile I am back to using my 20 dollar cheap cart... At least it works :(

The Wheeleez Folding Beach Cart has made our trips to the beach so much easier! After 28 years of lugging chairs and coolers by hand; my husband and I made the plunge of getting a cart. We had looked at the folding carts that are available at the retail stores and observed people lugging and laboring them through the sand. My husband had noticed a couple using a cart with large balloon tires and said, "that's the cart we should get". After inquiring further about the cart and knowing "you get what you pay for"; we got the best and are extremely happy with our decision. It folds away in the trunk and takes up very little space, but carries so much. We have had many inquires about it and are glad to direct people to where we made our purchase.

Great item.... we had to lug 5 tents, a heavy double screen tent, and assorted other camping gear and supplies across a sandy beach.. this thing worked great, and made the job so much easier. At first we didn't secure the straps properly and we lost an ice chest, but once we got the hang of how to secure it right, we never dropped another thing. Yes, its pricey, but if you have to lug a lot of stuff across a beach with loose sand, nothing else will work as good as this... I know i will get my money's worth out of this item. Suggestion... if you have a lot of small things, get a couple of milk crates or plastic container......

My family has owned our Wheeleez for about 10 years and I can't say enough about it. We can get everything we need for the beach on this cart. Large cooler, 3 to 4 umbrellas, 4 beach chairs, towels, beach bags, etc. Even when my girls where small they were able to push or pull this cart. So many people have asked us where we purchased it, as they struggled with their own version of a beach cart. We would not even consider going to the beach without it. Don't be afraid to load it up; put the cooler on the bottom and start stacking.

I'm an avid outdoorsman and have an appreciation for good recreational equipment. This beach cart is a nice heavy duty item. It has the kind of wheels on it that would work well for getting kayaks or other small boats down to the water. The nylon straps are so heavy that you could use them to hold down a load of lumber. I've already substituted some extra long bungee cords for the straps. I have no idea why they call this a "mini" cart. It's a substantial size. About like an ordinary hand truck with a very wide wheelbase. The regular size must be huge. I've been straping two or three chairs, umbrellas, and various other stuf & just chunking the whole thing in the back of the car. It's ready to go when you get there. I think people in the hospitality/entertainment business would probably find this a very useful item for getting gear on and off the beach. A good sturdy working cart.

After having neck surgery and no longer able to carrying photography equipment, I tried using an old luggage cart to carry bag & tripod. A few problems with wheels & base being too narrow. Surfed the net & found this cart. Pluses:wide wheel base, tires are quieter since softer, cart moves over uneven terrain easier than luggage cart although care still must be taken. In addition, now able to use storage bin for equipment (attached using included strapping). I also had small length of PVC pipe with an end on bottom that can easily attach/detach for tripod. Minuses: This is still luggage cart design, over time these will be wear on the rivets used to attach top and bottom of handle together as well as the clamp used to keep top section in up position. But overall, this is an excellent idea and if you want a better construct there is a big brother available. However I think I happy to just buy another of these when the time comes.

Recieved it in a timely manner. Set-up was easy. Wheels just snap on and twist off. Not yet used but should do an excellent job at the beach. Breaks down for easy storage and transport.

easy assem. looks like it will do well on sand. Don't hit a nail.
