I bought this on accident when i was really looking for was a strida. This is a cheap knock off of the original. You get what you pay for - the handles twist around and the pedal broke off the first time i tried to go up a small hill!

at day number 3 pedals broke, at week number 3 spokes broke, at week number 5 spokes broke. belt slides on traction on mild up slopes. i don't recommend it

I'm surprised Amazon stocks this product. I recognize it immediately as a Strida-knock-off. Strida is an ingenious design. I had one and loved it for a few years. But it sells for considerably more than this. I see by Googling strida+jintou that Strida has a patent dispute with this company, not surprisingly. I'd recommend Amazon discontinue this and that American customers buy the real brand Strida instead.

Tried one of these back to back with a secondhand strida ... it felt awful !! What you don't see in the pictures is all the materials are really poor quality, even the belt is not a proper gates belt but some chinese branded 'band'
loose and rusting spokes, brakes that didn't work and stuck on, .. total Junk.

Doesn't matter whether this is a Strada or a knock-off, there is a weakness in design. Instead of a U or Y shaped wheel connection(where stress is evenly distributed on both side of wheel), this design has a J connection, whereby each wheel is attached to only one side of frame. If used as a short-distance commute bike, might be OK! But it must under no circumstances be converted to a motorized bike. It is inherently TOO WEAK a frame! Btw, Strada is based in Taiwan, while Jintuo is based in China. Taiwan manufacturer makes them in China ~ no difference!

I love the feel of the ride it is totally ergonomically designed and my hands don't go numb like on a regular bike the only thing I am having trouble with is I need to order a replacement part that I need and I CAN'T find who to order from???Can anyone help me?? I need the seat part that attaches to the frame not the seat itself.

I love the bike I bought from you! Actually, I purchased 3 of the same bike for my entire household (except my bf - he has a real strida.) But to tell you the truth, they are all exactly the same! I mean, we don't bike marathons with them but tooling around town - its a great bike! super comfy, easy to control, and a real eye catcher (we love attention!) and I didn't have to spend a bloody fortune (1-strida retails for $900 whilst i purchased 3 bikes from you for the same amount of cold hard cash!) Being a small 110 lb girl, i am feel so much more in control & love that my hands & arms don't fall asleep (don't to mention the sensitive female parts don't hurt or go numb any more!) while my roommates who are all not so in shape & a little fluffy (215lbs - 235lbs) all pedal & manuver flawlessly all over town!

Thank you for selling such a fantastic product at an affordable & economy conscious price!
