Product Description

Greg Lynn is a distinguished teacher (Columbia University New York, and the University of California), writer, and practicing architect. This publication, occasioned by an exhibition of his work at the space "Encore...Bruxelles" collects a series of theoretical texts that have paralleled and influenced his design practice. Its focus on a limited set of issues involving the relationship between geometry and proportional models of the organism seeks to produce a diverse array of concepts.

3.0 out of 5 stars waiting for deeper exploration, February 28, 2001
By aaron (san diego ca, us) - See all my reviews
Again we should be amazed at these wonderful algorithmic creatures that have continued to sprawl for the last half a century or more. The innovation about this type of experimentation if at all it is anymore should lie on the reality and materiality of the projects. We cannot let technology invent architecture but to at least keep up if not produce it. Lynns dialogues will only be convincing if the show doesn't end up or formulate by gyp board.
