I've become addicted to Folger's Black Silk coffee. It is strong without being sharp, deep without being bitter, and extremely smooth. I brew mine very strong, occasionally adding a measure of chocolate truffle flavored ground coffee (light roast) with the usual amount of Black Silk. This is a special treat I save for rewarding myself or serving to people who come to visit.
Price:
On the matter of this price - wow. Just - wow. I get one 27.8 ounce container of this exact brand/flavor at an extremely expensive (not open-box) store in my neighborhood for $6.99 per container, which is under $14 for two. The product here on Amazon is priced at $29.20 for a two-pack as I type this. You can do much better than $15.00 per container, at least as of Nov. 10, 2010. I just checked my local grocer, who offers online shopping and home delivery, and it's still $6.99 there.
Recommendation:
Shop at your local grocery store and find this coffee. Even $9 per 27.8 oz. container is worth it, but I'm sure you can do better than that in your usual stores. I'm uncertain why Folgers would jack the price up so much here, but aside from this sales tactic - the coffee itself is magnificent, rich, and very smooth.

Amazon Verified Purchase
Folgers Black Silk is a good addition to their line of average consumer coffees. I enjoy a good cup of coffee about 12 times a day and usually buy Folgers or another brand. When buying Folgers I split my purchases between Black Silk and Gourmet Supreme. The Black Silk has a good taste and is easy to drink a dozen cups a day; however, my only complaint about the coffee itself is that I do not believe this type was designed to be used in a drip coffee maker. The grind is so fine that it has a propensity to clog the filter to the point of almost overflowing. It's a small thing but if I were to put a full complement of grounds in the filter it would run over and that would be a mess. The Gourmet Supreme is not like that. Regardless, Black Silk meets my simple demands and is a handy, easy to consume coffee.
One pet peeve comment if I may. Too many merchandisers are changing their container sizes too often. Coffee is just one example. The standard was one pound and three pounds. Today, the measurements are all over the place. Yesterday, you could buy 5 pound or 10 pound sugar. Not so much today. Prices increase at the same time the size shrinks. I just do not like it.

This is one of the best brand name coffees I have had in years. Usually I grind my own beans but no longer, the Black Silk is divine!
