This is the ultimate coffee....other flavors of Folgers do not compare....Very Dark, but no bitterness, no acidity, a very Rich and Velvety coffee...i like my coffee to look black in the pot, not thin and see through....but i dislike overpowered coffee that is bitter...Adding more grounds to a pot does not make thin coffee better, it makes it bitter and harsh....this is strong in a chocolate velvety rich way without the overbearing notes a thin coffee has.......sorry i cannot make it clearer with fewer words...perhaps this will help...regular folgers is as a mandolin...thin and bright, this Colombian folgers is as a cello, dark, bold, but smooth and warm.....

Excellent cup of joe.

This is my favorite of the Folgers.

Regular Folgers, not so much.

If you like Costco Kirkland Columbian, you'll love this. I like to grind it down a little further, so it is even better.

Life's short, so enjoy GOOD COFFEE.

Semper Fi!

I was looking for a coffee to drink because my Yuban organic was out of stock, so I got this to see if we liked it better, I love the taste and wonderful smell of the Folgers, it would be nice if Folgers could offer an organic alternative, we will be going back to Yuban Organic pesticide free, but we are enjoying the wonderful aroma of our Folgers in the morning for now.

I had made my regular trip to the local grocery store, loaded up my cart, stood in a long line while reading tabloid covers, checked out, and made it home only to realize that I had forgotten to pick up coffee. I had a couple days left, but running out of coffee at my house is an apocalyptic proposal. Our mornings would come to a screeching halt and the standard pre-work funk would become a downright foul mood.

Rather than brave the grocery store again, I decided to try Amazon's subscribe and save program. This review is as much about the service as it is about the coffee itself.

If you haven't tried Folger's Colombian, its a good coffee. Nice flavor, relatively dark brew, no bitterness. It is already ground, no hassle drip coffee.

The subscribe and save sent three large containers. The price, if divided between the containers, is approximately the same as at the grocery store. The containers have an air-tight seal under the lid, so the coffee will stay fresh until I need to open the next one. We use about one container per month and the subscribe and save offers an delivery option for once every 3 months. Amazon's shipping was very quick (and I selected the free shipping option). I ordered on Thursday, the expected delivery date was the following Wednesday, but I got my coffee on Monday afternoon.

So all is well in the house: I happily avoided a trip to grocery store, and everyone has their morning coffee. If you have a couple days worth of coffee left and don't want to drive to the store, try ordering it here. I was very pleased with the experience.

I have been drinking this coffee for a good number of years and think it's the best. I just signed up for the special deal and hope the prices will stay the same.

It's more like buyer be aware message. I love the thick and smooth aroma of this coffee! Even better than Starbucks, claimed by the daily homemade Starbucks coffee drinker. The only problem is the sealing issue; I'm the only coffee drinker at home, I make my morning Joe one cup a day. With that being said, a 27.8 Oz grand coffee seems like forever for me to achieve the "scripting the bottom" moment. On top of that, the Folgers container doesn't seal their precious coffee well enough, it only takes less a week for the coffee tastes stale. Now I have to deal with the tasteless coffee without the pleasure of enjoying it. If you can consume the coffee within a short amount of time, look no further! Or if you have a great way to reserve coffee as fresh as it could be, please oh please tell me! If none of that applied, I would suggest to get coffee bean and grand daily or small amount of grand coffee.

Better price than the one in local retail store, especially after they ran out of them in local retail stores

I've always been an avid coffee addict and in an attempt to save on extra spending, I got in the habit of brewing my own coffee everyday. Usually I just bought whatever was on sale (including the large, 20+ oz jugs), but never online. When I saw the Amazon Subscribe & Save option, I thought it could be a great way to keep my coffee cheap and always stocked.... And I was right! I think Folgers 100% Colombian is already a great product, and the amazon.com shipment was simple, fast, and at a great price. I go through the 27.8oz jug in a few weeks, so for me there's no issue with freshness. Each jug is sealed so that when you do need it, you're opening it fresh anytime.

I'm definitely going to keep subscribing (and saving!) to this product with amazon.com - an all-around great buy!

I have been drinking Folgers Colombian coffee since I first moved to the US over 10 years ago. I tried some of the other mass-produced coffees first but couldn't find one that I liked. I was thrilled to find this one. It tastes perfect to me. I had stopped buying it when the price in my local supermarket kept creeping up so I was really happy to find it on Amazon (Subscribe and Save) cheaper than my local supermarket. That is an added bonus. The only reason that I gave it four stars is that there are better coffees out there (in my opinion), just not for the same price.
