This case might be one of the coolest looking iPad cases out on market right now. It protects the iPad well, especially around the corners; it even covers the buttons and protects them. Sound travels very well out of the speaker cutout. The case isn't the slimmest out there, but I haven't found it to be too heavy or bulky. The Smart Cover feature works well, although occasionally, the cover will open while in a bag if it is moved the right way. The three stand modes work well; the iPad sits very well in the three grooves on the case. I've had the case for we couple days and have nothing to complain about.

My first case for my iPad 4 was the Snugg. I liked it well enough but I was worried about the edges not being protected, especially the corners and I have 2 little kids so I felt I was on borrowed time every day it didn't have an accident. The light blue on my Snugg was also getting pretty dingy looking. I thought about the Lifeproof case or the Otterbox, but I really wanted to keep the sleep/wake function that I was getting with my Snugg, and I rather like the folio style. The Logitech hits my check list for all the features that I wanted. It has a fully protective shell on the back and a folio like case on the front WITH sleep/wake. I LOVE the Mars orange, the texture gives it a sumptuous and expensive feel and paired with the grey, it is a winning combo. It is considerably heavier then the Snugg, but I definitely feel that it will protect my iPad much better. The only caveat is the way it opens takes some getting used to coming from the Snugg. It doesn't open just at the fold it goes to about halfway down the back of the shell part of the case, which is great for using it to prop open for movies or holding it up, I just haven't gotten used to it quite yet. The edges go up over to the sides of the screen which makes it seem bigger then the way the Snugg worked which was just slide in and secured with a velcro strap. Only time will tell how well this will hold up, but I'll update it if things go pear shaped. My initial impressions are that this one is a winner.

I have come to the conclusion that there is no perfect ipad folio case. All of the cases I have ran across have some defects in the design that are easily fixable. I have tried several cases, the switcheasy canvas, the apple smart cover, ifrogz summit, C-tech 360 rotating case and many others. But out of all the cases, I like the logitech sleeve the best, it has the features I want with detriments I am willing to deal with.

Good:
-IT STAYS STANDING IN ALL POSITIONS!!! This is by far,for me, the hardest thing to find in a good folio case. The front cover is thin (yet very rigid) and the grooves that hold the ipad are very small. When I first picked it up, I thought they would never keep the ipad in place, but to my surprise, this has been the best design yet, for holding up the ipad. The inside of the cover is suede, and there is a ridge on the plastic part that holds the ipad that digs into the suede, keeping the ipad sturdy and standing, even with typing and movement of the ipad. All of the other cases I had tend to slip out, especially with the ipad positioned in the lower positions. There are only 3 grooves, but you can position it almost everywhere. It will fall down when you lay it almost all the way down though.
-The front cover is very flat, but rigid. I use a logitech bluetooth keyboard (separate from the case) and it lays flat on top of the cover without moving while I type.
-The entire ipad is protected and it is actually quite thick, which adds extra weight compared to other cases. But I really don't mind the extra weight. Even all of the buttons are cover, including the sound switch.

Bad:
-There is no latch mechanism to keep the cover securely shut.

Right out of the box, I loved this cover for the iPad. It does a nice job of protecting the corners, so if you were to drop it (I didn't) it should survive the fall. That's the good part.

After 2 weeks, the story got much worse. The hinge loosens up, and the magnet no longer closes in the right place, and the iPad stays on. You can overcome this by using the on/off button on the iPad to turn it off. But it is MUCH more convenient to just close the cover and then open it a few minutes later without having to use the button. If I am reading something and want to stop to do something else, I just close the cover. Losing this feature was a killer for me.

I returned the cover. The good news is that Amazon took it back without question. I returned it just under the 30 day limit and found another cover that seems to be working fine. I bought the Belkin folio and like it a lot.

Overall this is a very functional case. I previously had the Otterbox (I believe it was the Defender model), but never came close to dropping my iPad. So, when, after almost 3 years the Otterbox was starting to fit a bit looser, I opted for the Logitech Folio. It seems to provide good protection. The 3 star rating is based on what I consider a serious oversight in design. I use the Apple adapters to connect my iPad to a data projector or HDMI devices. The Folio openings are too small for these adapters to plug in. To me, that's a serious oversight.
