Highly recommended. I'm so tired of crappy world music albums that all obviously draw from the same shallow pool of music from any given region. The music on this album is extremely diverse and unlike anything I've ever heard before. You'll find everything that any self respecting eclectic music fan fed up with time-abused formulas and predictable corporate backed "avant garde" music could ever hope for. Sun City Girls fans especially will enjoy this music (not only were the recordings gathered by members of the Girls, but they have covered more than one of the tracks). Traditional instrumentation, cheap electronics, air raid sirens fed through cheap PA systems (I'm guessing? I think it's supposed to sound like a rooster crowing) and much, much more - expect the unexpected.
