I'd like to point out that an adult index and ring finger fills each of the two eyestalks moving them seperately while the middle finger and thumb operate each half-shell so it's really creepy and gross and it fits in the pocket of your parka so you can take it places and goof on other people instead of being a sourpuss.

Um, so yeah...calling this puppet a clam would have made more sense. It's hilarious. The picture makes it look larger than it actually is.

Very cute and unusual. My toddler was intrigued right away, and still requests the scallop frequently. I also like that the Folkmanis puppets come with a tag giving basic facts about the animal.
